Domain detail page and findings

Deep dive into scan results, finding severity, AI guidance, and finding status workflow.

Open in app

Open a domain detail page

Click any domain name on the Domains page to open its detail hub. Here you see the current score, risk level, scan history chart, full findings list, and actions like Run scan and Generate report.

Understanding findings

Each finding includes a plain-English title, description, and remediation guidance. Findings are sorted by severity so the most important items appear first.

  • Critical — address immediately; often exploitable or publicly exposed misconfigurations.
  • High — significant risk that should be fixed soon.
  • Medium — important but lower urgency.
  • Low — informational or best-practice improvements.
  • Info — context and observations, not necessarily actionable.

Free plan finding limits

Free accounts see only the top 3 findings per domain. Upgrade to Standard to unlock the full list, scan history, and detailed remediation steps for every finding.

AI-enhanced remediation guidance

  1. 1

    Open a finding

Expand any finding on the domain detail page to read the default guidance.

  2. 2

    Click Enhance guidance

iPentesting uses AI to generate expanded, step-by-step remediation tailored to the finding. This is available on Standard and Premium plans.

Tip: AI guidance is a starting point — always validate changes in a staging environment before applying to production.

Finding status workflow (Premium)

Premium users can track finding status: Open, In progress, Resolved, Accepted risk, and False positive. Update status from the domain detail page or the Remediation tracker. Status changes help your team coordinate fixes across multiple domains.

Scan history chart

The chart on the domain detail page shows score trends over time. Use it to confirm that fixes improved your score or to spot regressions after infrastructure changes.

Monitoring schedule (Premium)

Premium domains show last light scan and next scheduled scan timestamps. Daily light monitoring checks key signals between weekly full scans so you catch regressions faster.
